Why would we ask our customers to work in the modern world with antiquated ideas? In our industry, the lack of innovation is often accepted as the status quo. In a world that is filled with advancing technologies and clever ideas, our industry has often chosen to remain primitive in its approach. The construction industry is full of new ideas and product advancements. From reimagining quarrying technologies to breathable building envelopes, to route trucks that offer just-in-time delivery systems. So why has the Natural Stone Thin Veneer industry failed to innovate since its inception? Our belief is; manufacturers are stuck inside the bottle. If you’re stuck inside the bottle, you cannot read the label on the outside. Over the past 15 years we have consciously re-imagined, re-evaluated and re-tooled our approach on how to continually create value. We have delivered real world solutions to real world problems. We are insanely focused on delivering the highest value from the products we manufacture to the communities we serve. This purpose is what continually fuels our passion.
We could start nerding out and use words like thermal mass, mineral composition and discuss freeze-thaw cycles. We could talk about gravity loads and building envelopes, but we don’t want to bore you with the details.
