CAN WE CONNECT BUSINESS WITH IMPACTS IN EDUCATION, CULTURE AND ANIMAL WELFARE?
YES, YES, & YES.
We operate outside our borders because we have the opportunity to give our support to one corner of the world.
We did not want to reinvent a new system or introduce something new that could not be sustained, so we started with a very simple question:
How can we make a difference?
The answer has led us to expanding school infrastructures to increase enrollment, donating computers to connect children in classrooms to the global community, installing water purification systems where there was no access to clean drinking water, and providing direct community support to ensure that girls in rural villages have continuous access to education. If we provide support to help these kids succeed academically, we are investing in their future. It’s a simple system of Q & A that works without overstepping.
There are 35 million stray dogs living in India right now. Even some of the largest cities lack the infrastructure to spay & neuter and prevent this trend from continuing. As usual, we asked ourselves,
Can a series of small acts make a difference?
We may not be able to rescue 35 million dogs, but we can start with as many as we can. So we take care of “office” dogs at our plant in Jaipur. We nurse back to health and take home those who are most in need. We work with a local animal shelter in India called “Help in Suffering” by giving of our resources and our time. We also try to connect our love for dogs coast to coast by working with our local SPCA. Our hope is that while we may not be able to rescue every one of them, our work will start a domino effect for our beloved four legged friends.
WE BELIEVE IN A RIPPLE EFFECT.
10,000 people helped.
We don't know how to make prescription glasses, but we do know how to make boxes. So we did that. We let the non-profit we partnered with do their job and we simply asked - How can we make your job easier? Turns out, it's just boxes so glasses can get where they need to go. It's hosting volunteers and feeding them. And it's learning how to do eye exams and showing up.
